Description
The backbone of our white wine portfolio and is defined by it’s blend, 65% Vilana and 35%
Vidiano, the main white indigenous varieties of the island of Crete. The grapes are sourced
from various vineyards on the island mostly planted on limestone but our main goal is to
harvest low yield Vilana to achieve ripeness and zesty character. Vidiano is sourced from
low altitude vineyards so that we add structure , stonefruit character and limit the acidity
levels of Vilana. Vineyards are north facing and enjoying the Aegean breeze throughout the
summer. Both Varieties grow on altitudes between 210 and 320 meters.

The wine presents virtues of both varieties, Vilana is sharp and crispy, Vidiano is more
round, fruity and mellow. Bright acidity along with a citrus edge from Vilana and apricot
together with hints of tropical fruit from Vidiano with a pleasing acidity level and lingering
finish. In classic Little Prince style, this easy drinking white wine is a pure expression of
Cretan terroir and varieties.
